Landing a Bartending Job is like anything else in this world. That is, you get what you put in to it. Every bartender knows that the best way to get a bartending job is to knock on doors and network.

You should never trust a bartending school that "guarantees" you a job. Like they say: If it's too good to be true, it's probably not! Besides, even if a school sends you to a job...don't you still have to interview? The answer is probably: YES, you do!

Some bartending schools will try to convince you that they have exclusivity to bartending jobs in your area. Typically, bar managers do not keep it a "secret" that they are looking to hire people. They want the best bartender that they can find. Did someone say: Knock on doors and network?
